The Destination
Jackson or Jackson Hole? Most people wonder what’s the difference. Jackson Hole refers to a 48-mile long valley surrounded by jagged mountain peaks and includes the towns of Jackson, Kelly, Moose, Moran, Wilson, and Teton Village. Known to early settlers as Jackson’s Hole, the area has been renowned since its discovery in the early 1800’s for its incredible natural beauty and abundance of wildlife.
As you’ll see, Jackson Hole includes several different towns and areas. Most of our wedding festivities and activities will take place in the town of Jackson, so we encourage guests to stay there for convenience. We also love the idea of everyone being close by—running into one another over breakfast, exploring town together, and sharing in the weekend experience as a community.

Mountain weather is variable! While days can be very warm and seasonable, evenings are always chilly. Please pack an extra layer or wrap to stay warm on cooler evenings. on Friday and Saturday nights, you will walk to the venues on gravel paths and grassy fields. This is not stiletto country! Dress accordingly. While Jackson Hole is casual, our wedding is not…please note the Black Tie dress code for Saturday night.
