Shopping in Town
So many options! We recommend a walk around the iconic Town Square. Great clothing, jewelry, home goods, and memorabilia to be found door-to-door! Don’t miss Gaslight Alley for novelty shops with artisan gifts and sweets.
Art Galleries appear on every street, featuring everything from classic Western standards to fresh contemporary artists.
Stroll through the Farmers' Market on Saturday morning as they set up delicious stalls along Town Square.

During the summer months, Snow King Mountain becomes a one-stop destination for entertainment. From top to bottom, Snow King Mountain’s attractions include: scenic gondola rides, paragliding, ziplining, hiking and biking trails, an alpine slide, mini golf course, and bouldering park.
For the hikers:
Josie’s Ridge is a popular trail that can be reached by the "Sink or Swim trail" on Snow King. The views from the top of the ridge capture the majestic Teton range in the distance and the local town below.
Cache Creek is a well-traveled path for hikers, bikers, and dog walkers. Gentle slope for a lovely walk.
Snow King Mountain IS A STEEP CLIMB UP MANY SWITCHBACKS TO THE TOP. THE GONDOLA PROVIDES A RELAXING RIDE TO SEE THE SCENIC VIEWS.
Grand Teton National
Park Hiking
While there are trails located all over Jackson Hole, if you have a couple of days to hike, then we recommend heading straight to the trails in Grand Teton National Park. Find some of our favorite adventures listed below.

Phelps Lake and Death Canyon at the
Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve
Take an easy to moderate hike around Phelps Lake or opt for something longer into Death Canyon. Start from the Laurance Rockefeller Preserve visitor center and parking area, south OF the Moose Visitor’s Center. (Note that parking can be a challenge – best to arrive very early to ensure you get a spot)

Granite Canyon
This area offers moderate to difficult hikes, depending on the duration. For an all-day challenge (and large elevation gain), hikers can take Granite Canyon all the way to the top of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Aerial Tram. Take the train back down to Teton Village for a chance to explore and enjoy a well-earned beverage of choice!

Surprise & Amphitheater Lakes
Difficult due to the elevation gain, this hike is a Jackson favorite. The round-trip hike to both lakes is 10 miles, but the climb covers 3,000 vertical feet in just five. Allow yourself plenty of time by getting an early start.

Bradley & Taggart Lakes
A mellow option in southern Grand Teton National Park, this area is usually less busy than Jenny Lake. The round-trip hike to both lakes is just about 5 miles, with only 500 feet of elevation gain. The parking lot is located 2.5 miles from the Moose Visitor Center.

Jenny Lake and Hidden Falls
Easily the most famous hike in Grand Teton National Park, hikers can loop around Jenny Lake and continue on to Hidden Falls, or they can cut down on the hike by riding the boat shuttle across the lake. (Note that parking can be a challenge – best to arrive very early to ensure you get a spot)

Dornans and Moose
Located just outside the entrance to Grand Teton National Park, Moose is a great place to stop after hiking for some well-deserved grub!

Stop by Dornans Chuckwagon for a Cowboy lunch on picnic tables offering the best views of the Tetons.

Dornans Pizza & Pasta Company offers delicious pizzas with a rooftop staring straight at the Teton range.
The local grocery also offers fantastic sandwiches for those who want to grab & go.
